think of me as harmless but hopeful.
As each new day begins I get up out of bed and hope that today is the day that my maternal family cares enough to think of an Adoptee and reach out to them with compassion and caring. And then I take my pills and coffee. It's about this time that babies come and the chaos commences. I love it but it tires me out...I know that one day I won't be here so I make the most of making an impression on them...a good impression not the kind of impression that I burned into my children's mind. I do regret who I was way back then but now I get a second chance with my grand babies.
