I'm worried for my Birth Mothers Grandchildren. When they get older and get curious about their Ancestry, who's to say they or their spouse won't reach out to do their DNA? What do you think they will feel when they find a connection they weren't expecting. If it were me I would wonder why my parents had lied to me...I would begin to question what else was kept from me. Then I would wonder why they didn't trust me to tell me.
Believe me, I have gone through all of these emotions and now I have come to having no feelings for my adoptive parents. They hid the fact that they knew their son was a child molester. They wouldn't even comfort me and acknowledge that what he did to me he did to others. Then they all changed their name. Just so they could hide from people. It pisses me off when people lie to their children. And now I have to watch my daughter do it to her children...it's killing me to have to bite my tongue.
