Yes,. I'm still reading and learning all the hard facts about the Triad. This one is opening up my door to music that I haven't listened to in quite some time and re-establishing what I already learned about the Triad.
"Many a birth mother who has finally come clean and told her family about the child she had to give up has found this to be healing. Disclosing what happened is a way of unburdening. They have to understand that women today are not viewed in the same way and that they have nothing to be ashamed of. Those were the times. If anything, these women deserve compassion for all those years of heartache and guilt they endured. If a family walks away from you for telling them about a long-lost child, there is a dysfunction among its members that has to do with more than that particular secret. Family members should be accepting of one another no matter what the circumstances are. It’s my belief that secrecy and lies are what upset people and damage relationships—not a child who comes back into the life of the birth mother."
