MARY LORRAINE DANROTH
COVID-19 has made me ponder more than usual about everything, which is really quite exhausting. It’s bad enough that an adoptee brain is on full throttle, but this virus adds so much more.
First thought that I can’t shake...will I ever be forgiven?
Second thought...will I ever come face to face with my birth family?
Third thought...will people ever understand that we need to distance ourselves for our health?
Fourth thought...will I live long enough to move to my retirement home?
Fifth thought...will my husband make it as well?
Sixth thought...is our feral cat pregnant?
Seventh thought...will I ever be able to get out of my house and go somewhere?
This list can go on and on but it gets a tad tedious for anyone to see into my mind.
