MARY LORRAINE DANROTH
As much as some people don't understand...but just by coming back to check up on me goes to show that they have an emotion for me, and as long there is an emotion that means there is some degree of care.
For years I have told my husband that when I have no reaction to him that it's time to go. Even if I'm mad he should be glad. It means I still have a degree of feelings. Although if we don't talk it out were definitely screwed. So as long as I'm willing to talk to him, we're golden.
It shocks me everyday how he has been able to put up with me and my problems. He checked up on me every night that I've been in the hospital.
It's hard for an Adoptee to believe they are good enough but at least he tries to get through to me. And everytime someone checks up on me I feel acknowledged. Every little thing matters to me...an Adoptee...
