Raising my children was harder than a kept person would ever have to go through. My children always had to struggle to learn who they were...I gave no guidance. I couldn't possibly, I didn't even know who I was, so how could I help guide them to adulthood? I did what I seen other people do with respect to treat each other with respect, play outside, and "no, you may not stay home alone." Use your Please and Thank You's. Help people when you can...don't expect anything in return. If you loan something, just consider it a gift and if it comes back then it was definitely a gift to you. Do your best to stay away from drugs and alcohol. No stealing. "If it feels ok to do it, then go ahead and do it with no regrets. If you feel you may regret it, then obviously dont do it.
Now that I'm realizing better who I really am,..who I was meant to be, they have a better understanding who they really are as well.
