How can someone think it’s ok to tell someone else to be quiet and stay a secret...how can anyone live with themselves knowing that they told someone to stay a secret and then get mad at them for not respecting such a huge request. In fact it isn’t even a request...a request is the act of asking for something to be given or done, especially as a favor or courtesy. This is actually more of a demand which is to ask for something forcefully in a way that shows that you do not expect to be refused.
The life of an adoptee is reminiscent of the life of a victim of child abuse. And when you are both the victim of child abuse and an adoptee, the adoptee should be allowed to charge whomever causes this much unnecessary pain. The one that demands silence is the one that causes more suicide attempts. They should be held accountable for their actions!
