Dear Aunt XXXXXX,
Since every single one of my birth mother XXXXXX’s sisters, brothers, sons and daughters feel that I am the reason her life was such an awful existence and you all feel the need to make me pay for my birth parents incident of my conception I am asking that you not ask to join my LinkedIn network or any other social media or website and then disconnect from my network 24 hours later. I’m not sure if you have ever talked to an adoptee ever in your life but when someone does something like that we take it as another rejection that we don’t understand. Everyday of our life we question why we were thrown away. We do take it personally because if the woman that made sure she carried a fetus for 40 weeks and then gave birth to it then just simply throws it away, obviously there was something wrong with the baby when it was born. It is personal to the adoptee...and when that adoptees birth family blames her and shuns her and blocks her it hurts every single second of everyday. People like to think that adoptees are given into a better life, but the reality is that adoptees attempt suicide 4 times more often than anyone else. Hence when you did what you did, it hurt me more than you can fathom...it’s a reminder that my whole family is wanting me dead and they didn’t take the chance when they had it... All I really ask of you is to never treat any adoptee the way you guys have treated me. Please.
