Once an adoptee finds their birth Family they still don't get that perfect connection, especially if they have been rejected by the most important connection they could've ever hoped for. But when they are accepted into the extended family it helps immensely. The worst memory I have is when my half sister said that 'my family' was judging them. It gave me the feeling that she despised 'the family'. 'The Family' that she speaks of was the same family that was raised with her Aunts and Uncles and her Mother. I can only hope that she was just speaking out of anger for me and not them. I'm used to being judged and hated, plus I'm the only one that deserves it they don't. Unless there's something she didn't tell me about 'them'. I'm the one that interrupted her mother's life...I'm the one that ruined all of their lives...not 'the family'. Maybe she's mad at them for being there for me and accepting me for who I am...a Danroth by blood.
